Hi-res images
Introduction
Unfortunately, Packrat have stopped doing the hi-res versions of cards, this means that there will be no hi-res MOO Stickers available for the cards after the Rat Kong launch (21st May 2009 - the final collection was Land Down Under) - unless those cards are on Gowalla or have been posted in hi-res by the artist.
What is hi-res?
Hi-res (high resolution) would mean the image was produced at 128px by 128px - as per the larger card images that were on the previous version of Packrat. The current images are only available at 64px by 64px.
What does this mean?
It means that any sticker selected without a gold border will appear very slightly fuzzy on the printed sticker as it has to be stretched to fit. It won't be immediately obvious until compared with a hi-res image or viewed very closely.
Compare Skaars with the very cute Wizard Socmo here:

But it doesn't look too bad - in this photo you can see a test pack I made of lo-res images (top) and an old hi-res image pack (bottom):

Is there anything that can be done?
The Packrat devs have said that cards will no longer be produced at in hi-res due to the extra time required to complete the art for a collection. Additionally, if they did change this in the future it is unlikely that past collections would be updated.
